Not long ago, lagi ko sinasabi na 'lone wolf' ako.
โ
Mas gusto ko kasi lagi mag isa.
โ
Feeling ko rin boring ako kasama.
โ
At mas nakaka-focus ako pag solo ako.
โ
Well, na-realize ko na hindi naman pala talaga ko lone wolf; that was just partly true.
โ
The other part of that was just me rationalizing it because ang totoo, wala lang talaga kong circle to hang out with na masasabi kong..
You know why that is?
โ
Because I wasnโt working on myself to attract the caliber of people I wanted to associate with.
โ
Sino ba naman gugustuhin ayain ang loser? Wala, right?
โ
Or maybe, kapwa losers.
โ
And that's one of the things I realized when I got invited by Fibo Lim to the Elite Circle Mastermind just a few days ago.
โ
Nagkaron ako ng chance to be with these 'mega successful' entrepreneurs, many of whom earn xxx a month (whatever you're thinking, multiply it by 10x)..
โ
And I felt grateful for that moment because it speaks to what I've accomplished now, with my loser era now a thing of the past.
โ
More importantly, I felt even more grateful because I had the chance to speak, bond, and learn from them, so I can even become an even better individual. ๐
โ
And because I didn't want to lose all those lessons, sinulat ko lahat ng naalala ko sa journal ko..
โ
.. but I felt that's not enough.
โ
To ingrain these valuable nuggets into my brain even more, I know it's best to share them. ๐
โ
With that, here are the lessons I picked from the 4-Day Elite Circle Mastermind that I'm sure can add tremendous value to you (if ma-internalize mo lang).
โ
Enjoy!

Jhopet Fines
โ
Listening to Jophet, he reinforced to me the analogy that when you start a business, it's like planting a seed. You need to have a clear picture of what you want your company to be about, and making sure that the roots of your tree are solid.
โ
You do this by having a clear vision, mission, core values, and statement of purpose.
โ
For without them, baka maging inevitable din sayo yung mistakes nya that cost him a multi-million loss. ๐
โ
At ang pinaka-nagustuhan ko talaga sa presentation nya was highlighting the pride you should have for the thing/s that you sell.
โ
He even mentioned this question:
This shows the essence of selling something you genuinely believe in.
โ
Prioritizing value over profitโand that's admirable for me.
โ
โ
Bk Rivera
โ
I learned a valuable lesson about prioritizing the company over personal interests.
โ
He shared his own experience of making a big mistake by putting himself first, even when his company needed him most.
โ
Instead of focusing on the crucial things to save the business, naging busy sya sa pag-seek ng personal recognition, like being called "Big Boss," and indulging in media appearances.
โ
In short, nanaig yung EGO and that cost him and his company a lot.
โ
It wasn't just about money, but also about confidence, and in his own words, 'self-love'.
โ
Sobrang relate ako dito because I, too, have sometimes prioritized personal significance over what's best for the company (which wala naman nadulot na maganda long term).
โ
Pero ang pinaka-favorite ko talaga kay BK is his humility.
โ
He's incredibly affirming and acknowledging, which makes it easy to connect with him because you feel good being around him.
โ
Pair that with his intelligence, you can truly see what a great leader he is, at gugustuhin mo na agad maging instant tropa nya.
โ
โ
Fibo Lim
โ
First, I learned about a unique salary increase system.
โ
Instead of just deciding, Fibo involves employees by asking how much they want to earn next year and what they need to do to deserve it.
โ
Then, he asks them what help and support do they need to acquire those skills/knowledge so they can become the person for their desired role.
โ
Next, tinuro nya yung concept ng "Circle of Abundance," where business owners, employees, and customers all benefit.
โ
Owners gain time and financial freedom
Employees experience financial and personal growth, leading to fulfillment
Customers receive value exceeding the price they pay
โ
Next, he contrasted a 'Family' culture with a 'Sports Team' culture, noting that while families prioritize support (regardless of performance)..
โ
Sports teams focus on winning, even if it means letting go of underperforming members.
โ
Lastly, yung pag highlight nya ng "playing to win" versus "playing not to lose".
โ
He was having doubts about whether he should push through with this mastermind, but instead of focusing on what he could lose, he focused on what he could gain.
โ
At kaya natuloy 'tong event na 'to..
โ
And his team showed what 'overdeliver' means that when it's time to sell the mastermind, everyone (including me) was expressing something along the lines of..
Nani Razon
โ
His story moved everyone.
โ
Kinwento nya yung pinnacle ng financial success nya, tapos in snap, naglaho lahat.
โ
Na-depress, naging suicidal, na-trauma sa pera, even avoiding anything that has to do with money (including his own family).
โ
Then hammering the point:
โ
๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ถ๐ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ. ๐ฏ
โ
And reinforcing that with..
โ
Money indeed can create happiness, but not fulfillment. ๐
โ
"๐๐ข๐ฎ๐ข ๐ฆ๐ฉ" - Charl Gos
โ
In addition, Nani taught us the 4 States of Being, which are:
โ
1: Negative Spiral - this is where everything is going down
2: Reality Trap - settling/mediocrity
3: Stress, anxiety, boredom - this is where most entrepreneurs live
4: Flow State - having a vision but being happy in the present
โ
Lastly, he highlighted the difference between Love and Attachment, which for me, sobrang gandang reminder.
โ
Sabi nya:
โ
When you love someone/something, you let them grow.
โ
But when you're attached with someone/something, you expect them to make you happy.
โ
โ
No doubt he's awarded as the 'Best Value Giver' in the entire event, kasi sobrang dami naman talagang value ang nabigay nya not just from his presentation, but in all instances na nagsalita sya.
โ
At sobrang inspiring magsalita ni Nani, bigla ko gusto mag public speaking class because I saw how impactful that skill is.
โ
โ
Airon Dela Cruz
โ
He highlighted the importance of using email marketing not just to sell, but to build relationship with customers.
โ
Iba kasi pag emails compared sa social media eh. Even if the message is the same, deeper yung interaction.
โ
And that's why my business also rely heavily on email marketing because I know the power of it, and Airon reinforced to me that belief; that we're on the right track.
โ
In addition, he also showed how he uses his email marketing skills to work just one hour a week, gaining both time and financial freedom in the process.
โ
Dahil dito, nakakapag-travel sya anytime na gusto nya without worrying much about time and money.
โ
Lastly, I appreciate Airon for one of the nights that we had a "talk". Sya yung umiinom, pero ako yung nagkwentong lasing haha.
โ
I just talked about my vision nonstop, and he's there, just allowing and acknowledging me. ๐
โ
โ
Pamela Joy Estonilo - Lumagbas
โ
She started her presentation with a bold question:
โ
"๐*๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ข ๐ฃ๐ข?"
โ
And this 4-letter word means Great, Achievements, Growth, Opportunities.
โ
What startled everyone in the room was when she shared her unimaginable sales and revenue numbers in just six months for a single product.
โ
Sobrang nakaka-stretch ng belief, getting you to tell yourself na "possible pala yun?".
โ
Even Fibo told me that after hearing about Pam's success, he realized that he had been creating his own limiting beliefs about what could be achieved.
โ
And I think the key here was having a product rooted in purpose and impact rather than just focusing on sales.
โ
But what's even more amazing is the fact that she didn't achieve this success overnight.
โ
She went through numerous challenges (the lowest of lows), and her story of bouncing back was the most inspiring for us.
โ
Ang pinaka tumatak sakin was her advice of "focus ka sa sarili mong lane."
โ
Ang sinulat ko dito sa notes ko was this:
โ
"In the sea of competition, don't dwell on 'VERSUS' or think about competitors. Instead, focus on the people you're serving, shout louder about how you can help them, and continue doing so until you're the one people remember."
โ
โ
โ
Mark Magdadaro
โ
And yet, he's one of the quietest persons in that circle.
โ
He's that humble.
โ
Ang pinaka-natutunan ko sa kanya is if you're focus on building wealth, you can expand your business to other countries because there are plenty of opportunities to tap into there.
โ
If what you're doing works here, it's possible that it can work for other countries too.
โ
Additionally, two keys he mentioned for the success of their businesses are having a quality product line and taking care of your active distributors.
โ
So, for me, dun pa rin talaga babagsak eh:
โ
Building a reputation for creating great products
Caring for your people/customers more than just seeking profit
โ
Walang magic; it's simply about doing these on a different level.
โ
โ
Leanne Domenden Dela Cruz
โ
My accountability buddy during the event.
โ
Kinabahan pa ko nung una kasi pag late sa kahit anong sessions, we have to pay 50k each.
โ
โ
But she proved my doubts wrong.
โ
Ang inspiration na nakuha ko kay Leanne was that even though there are many limiting beliefs surrounding working from provinces (she used the term 'small barrio')..
โ
.. it will be a limitation ONLY if you allow it.
โ
Pinatunayan nya, through her resilience, na kahit ano pang estado mo sa buhay, at kahit saan ka nakatira, pwedeng pwede ka pa rin maging successful financially and have fulfillment if you choose to.
โ
This successful trait of hers also reflects in the product(s) she sells (which are perceived as 'more difficult' to sell).
โ
But that didn't stop her, and that's why she succeeded.
โ
Isa pang na-highlight sa amin lahat was her relationship with her husband.
โ
She shared with us the sacrifices they both made to make their businesses work, from switching roles to supporting each other, to one taking the spotlight while the other grinds behind the scenes.
โ
Ang galing lang ng dynamics. ๐
โ
โ
Kim Angelo Lat
โ
From Cloud Kitchen to Empire.
โ
โ
Kaya ayun, pag land namin, derecho Korean restaurant haha.
โ
What reinforced to me from listening to Kim's presentation was the importance of consciously prioritizing customers over profit.
โ
Halos same kasi kami ng pinagdaanan na mistakes, but in reverse order.
โ
Initially, Kim's focus was on serving customers and prioritizing their needs. However, as the business scaled up, he admitted to becoming 'greedy' and shifting the focus to profit over customers.
โ
That's when their numbers drop.
โ
So the lesson here is never to neglect customers because they're the ones who keep you in business.
โ
Another one that I got is to protect what is already working. Focus on improvement pero hinay sa massive changes.
โ
Sabi nga sa quote, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
โ
โ
-
โ
โ
And those were the lessons I got from the event speakers.
โ
But don't misinterpret. Hindi lang ako sa kanila nakakuha ng value, but from almost everyone in that event.
โ
Sobrang dami kong nakuha from the non-speaker guests and it would be a disservice not to credit them.
โ
AJ Perez - for being real and authentic. What we see from you is the real you, and that makes you trustworthy, and relate ako sayo sa madaming stories mo like yung ilaw ilaw mo haha
โ
โ
Charl Gos - for embodying the 'fun' value, which reminded me that life is already difficult, so wag mo na masyado seryosohin. Idol ka rin namin ni Igo
โ
โ
RG De Jesus - for being humble in reminding me that what I have in terms of health and fitness is really admirable, which made me feel acknowledged. Despite being one of the 'biggest' guys here in terms of business success, you made us feel like we have an older brother we can easily reach out to
โ
โ
Daniel Grospe - for the fun and approachable vibe. Kahit hindi ka speaker, may mga notes ako from you regarding content creation, and one of them was: "You can only control what you put out there, but you cannot control what people say". Another was "just start", dahil walang shortcut dyan. Panget talaga mga umpisa mong ipopost
โ
โ
Dan Liwanag - for showing me your 60-pound weight loss after your period of depression and for taking interest in my writing style na hiningi mo pa yung process ko for it. I felt honored.
โ
โ
Ramir Opiasa Lumagbas Jr. - for being a cool person and a supportive husband to Pam. How you shared your interest in being healthier and fitter, and yung kwento mo about your impression of me. And of course, for leading the dance party during our downtime haha
โ
โ
Jungie Gumiran - for making us all realize na hindi lang pala game of pure 'luck' ang bato-bato-pik haha. That shows depth in how you think. Also, I admire the way you talk about numbers and how certain you are about them. Lastly, yung offer mo na help sakin. Very much appreciated.
โ
โ
๐ฉ Ysa Ysa Nuรฑezca Singson - for showing me na ang dami mong notes from my presentation that can help you add value to your community of moms. And for expressing your passion towards helping them
โ
โ
Igo Beltran Guillermo - for the support and the great photos and clips, not just for me, but for everyone at the event. For not being someone na kailangan samahan because I know that you can easily blend in with others
โ
-
โ
And to the peeps na hindi ko masyado naka-kwentuhan, but they're just there observing, learning, supporting, and showing respect to everyone.
โ
- Jeanette Penacerrada
- Michie Ann Roaring
- Clyde H. Fines
- Charlone Jr Sabayton Ronato
- Mark Galado
โ
Thank you!
โ
And of course, to the amazing team of volunteers who organized the event. Without you guys, this event wouldn't have had that 'overdeliver' element, so sobrang salamat!

โ
Ang simple lang halos lahat noh?
โ
Hula ko nga, alam na natin most of the items in this list eh?
โ
But that's the point.
โ
Success is never a magic thing.
โ
It's just consistently repeating the same boring stuff and taking these clichรฉs more seriously.
โ
โ
Sila, they take them as reminders to:
โ
โ
Start doing them kung hindi pa nila ginagawa
โ
โ
Start doing them to a higher degree kung kaya pang iimprove
โ
They live by the quote:
And that's why they're successful.
โ
My hope for you is that you find your own success circle, one that raises your standards.
โ
Once that happens, you'll be amazed at how much you can achieve. ๐
โ
But just remember..
โ
For you to attract them, you first have to become them.
โ
So go work on yourself! ๐
